About
Creativity is the ability to look at the ordinary and see the extraordinary - Dewitt Jones

Lee-ann began her creative career as an author in 2019. Creating is her passion. She self-published her first two novels in 2020 - When Angels Cry - The Forgotten Children, and her biography Dancing with the Devil - Breaking chains of childhood sexual abuse. In 2022, she published Resuscitate. In 2023 she returned to her homeland, South Africa for 6 months, after 18 years, and wrote and published Umama - Cry of Africa and Missing Person - Fight or Flight.
She's now finalizing her next four novels for publication, Welcome Home - The enemy inside, Voice of Akasha, Evie, and Dance me to the end of love (a joint project with South African actor, writer, and director, James Ryan), as well as her first children's book, Little Me Adventures.
After publishing her first novel, Lee-ann learnt everything she could about scriptwriting, and completed her first feature screenplay. She creates her own video trailers and pitch decks, as well as website design. She loves doing anything creative, and if it's new to her, she'll research and practice until she perfects it. One day she'd like to be behind the camera, directing movies.
Lee-ann is also passionate about advocating for mental health awareness and healing, and to put a stop to child abuse. This passion was born from her personal experience of abuse from the age of four. She is not afraid to express unconventional and out-of-the-box thinking, and she is not afraid to challenge injustice and stand up for what is right - even if she stands alone.
Nature and water are Lee-ann's religion and teacher, and what has helped in her healing journey. She would love the opportunity to work with the homeless, orphans and abused children - to instil in them that they can be more than anyone thought possible, and to follow their dreams, even when they feel the fear.
